HI there,

Does anyone know of a product in which questions can be created which can then be assigned to students via the SLK in a randomized form?

For instantance; the database holds questions Q1, Q2 and Q3.

Student 1 gets questions Q1 and Q2
Student 2 gets questions Q2 and Q3
etc

Thanx for the help!

If I remember correctly, I think SCORM 2004 content can be created that does this. Sequencing rules in SCORM allow you to have a collection of SCOs and have the LMS randomize the set of SCOs presented. I think you can also combine this with selecting a subset of the total number of SCOs (5 of 20 for example). So you could have 10 questions (one per SCO) and have each student get all 10 each with a different order. Or, you could have 10 questions and have the LMS select 5 of them to deliver to the user.

Unfortunately, while I know it is possible, I'm not up-to-date enough with the various content creation programs to know which ones will create this type of content. If you are adventurous, you could dig into the SCORM spec and try it out by hand. :)
