Hi,

I'm new to SLK and I want to apply the French Language Pack on my SLK 1.3.
Unfortunatly, I can't find where I can download the Language Pack and what should I do to apply it.
The only file that I've get is the "TranslatedXMLs-1036.zip". Could you give me the link to get the french language pack ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Kareem,

There's language packs available for 1.3.1RC at http://www.codeplex.com/SLK/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=9206. I don't think that they will work with previous versions though. What version are you on?

Thanks Richard,

SLK version for MLG; v1.0 with observer role. Will the French language pack work with it?

Hi Kareem,

No the language pack format has changed between v1 and the latest version. I suggest upgrading to 1.3.1 and using the French language pack from that.

Hi Richard,

Feedback is appreciated. I assume this is true for all other languages localizations done before on v1.0, isn't it?

Hi Kareem,

The original language pack for version 1.0 contained US English, Japanese, Slovenian and Lithuanian. The version 1.1 language pack contains about 29 different languages, but you'll need to upgrade to SLK 1.3.1 to take advantage of it. I'm not aware of any other language packs which were compiled up for version 1.0, but there might be some kicking around.
