Problem with the BasicWebplayer

When trying to install the basicwebplayer according to the readme.txt file I get everytime the same error. First I runned the init.bat to compile all the DLL files and copied these to the GAC and bin directory. When run the application in a seperate IIS website (no WSS / MOSS) I receive this error:

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B1)

There have been changes in this area due to our work on compression (e.g. Zip) support for the Basic Web Player.  It looks like we inadvertantly broke this.
