We have setup ADFS claims authentication with 60 minutes session time. the default logonTokenCacheExpirationWindow is 10 minutes. It means after 50 minutes, SharePoint has to re-authentication with ADFS trust.

I found that the learning kit calls hidden.aspx every 10 minutes by POST to try to make the connection live. However it is changed to GET after re-authentication. this causes the Learning kit crash. User is not aware, when they submit the result at the end of the session, the user gets "please wait ...." .

Does anyone know any workaround with it? or how to change the Hidden.aspx to GET.

Hi jichangliu,

Do you know whereabouts in the code (javascript or c#) the 10 min post is? I haven't found any trace of it.

Thanks,

Richard

Hi Richard,

If you use fiddler to trace the http activity, you will see the following line will occur every 10 minutes after you launch learning module.

POST /sites/Mysite/MyTraining/_layouts/SharePointLearningKit/Frameset/Hidden.aspx?SlkView=Execute&LearnerAssignmentId=847a6cc6-9fd3-466b-97e0-6213c31e18ee&I=1 HTTP/1.1
