Can we have username or email address in dbo.UserItem table in [Name] Column?

Is it possible to insert username or email address in dbo.UserItem table in [Name] Column when course in assign to users?

Can any tell me if this possible and how?

The display name in SharePoint is put in there, so if you set that to the username it would work. Otherwise it would take a code change.

SLK uses a custom data access framework which is a real pain. You will need to modify all the functions and views in the SLK schema to add the column, before adding it to the code. Have a search through the code for SPUserId to see how I added that column for the users - although the implementation is actually a table.
