SLK - Cannot save SCORM Content Status

I have implemented SLK on top of SharePoint 2007 and managing SCORM content created with CourseLab authoring tool.

Unfortunately, I’m experiencing a problem with SCORM score tracking in SLK by the SCORM content. I managed to track the Final score once that the course is submitted but the course “State” is not saved when I use the “Save/Resume” feature of SLK.

Does anybody dealt with the same problem and know how to go through it?

Thanks everybody.

At the end I found out that Adobe Captivate support rich status tracking, but ONLY with SCORM 1.2 content. If I try to publish the very same content in SCORM 2004 I got the same problem.

So finally the questions are:
1. Does any Free or OpenSource Authoring Tool exist to support rich status tracking?
2. Why it just work in SLK with SCORM 1.2
3. Why LCDS (from Microsoft) doesn't support rich status tracking even if it produces SCORM 1.2 content?
4. Is there a way for SLK to support rich status tracking with SCORM 2004?

Thanks a lot for helping me, if anybody got even at least one answer to one of these questions.
