SLK 1.4

May 29, 2009 at 4:49 AM

This thread http://slk.codeplex.com/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=48974 seems to be a bit outdated.  Any update on when 1.4 will be released?

Also, does 1.3.1 and the LG support x64?  We've been running it this way in a lab with no problem but not sure if this is officially okay or not.  If not, will it be as of 1.4?

Thanks,

Dan

The latest version of 1.3.2 fixes a bug with running Class Server files on 64bit. Apart from that SLK is 64bit compliant.

There shouldn't be any reason why LG isn't 64bit.

1.4 will come out as soon as I receive the code from MS and ITWorx. It's going through their release process at the moment.

Hey Richard, any update on this?  6 weeks ago it was supposed to be coming any day.  what happened?

I was told last week that it would be available early this week. Microsoft and IT Worx have been working to fix some bugs which was in the new code to ensure that it is as bug free as possible.

Unfortunately I'm now away and won't be available to integrate it into the changes I've been making, and probably won't have a chance until the new school term now. I think the plan is to upload the new release to the patches where you can download and try until I can get an official build out.

The new release is ready and Jeff Jacobson is working on getting it published to Codeplex right now.

Any word on this release? Also, will this version be able to send email notifications when students are assigned?
