Trying to Add 1.4 into MLG in fresh install

Could not find the Release folder, so I took a gamble and ran Addsolution and was informed it could not find sharepointlearningkit.wsp. I don't think anyone was "harmed" in the process. Do I make a release folder and add the sharepointlearningkit.wsp (64 bit) in it?

Have a good weekend.

You can use any release folder of old SLK versions and just replace the old sharepointlearningkit.wsp file with the new one.

Thanks, that was it. Next problem is the data base not wanting to be created, "

CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'.

the sources on the net points to not having the correct permissions in the SQL, but even after giving dbcreator to local services, network services and for the domain admin, it still gave me the same error. (restarted the server as well) The district page is available (I'm using MLG), but I doubt  the other pages will work until the create database is resolved. I'll check with my local guru, but if anyone has different twist, gladly would listen. I'm thinking the next place to look would be the Services.

Thanks,

Murray
