We are doing SLK localization to Latvian language.
SLK does not display any Latvian diacritic characters that is translated from SlkSettings.XML .

Details.
1. We have succesfully translated text strings located in resource files.
This text stings are correctly displayed in SLK interface.
2. SlkSettings.XML contains query names and column names, that must also be translated.
We can succesfully display different ENGLISH names instead of original names.
3. Latvian language contains Diacritical symbols.
None of the characters containing these symbols are displayed.
English characters are displayed, but not Latvian Diacritical symbols.
Latvian characters are fully supported by both Windows locales and UTF-8 coding.
SlkSettings.XML is saved as UTF-8.

4. Any ideas?
Does anyone have issues with non english characters?

Hi there,
Please ensure that the SLKSettings file is saved as UTF-8. This is not the default in Notepad. To save as UTF-8 in Notepad go to File > Save As... and set the encoding field to UTF-8.
This should fix the problem.
