DropBox document libraries inaccessible after reinstallation

I have installed the original SLK 1.4 beta on our site to check it out and was hoping to replace it with the new one which by all accounts is much better (thanks Richard).  Unfortunately I can't get into the DropBox document libraries anymore on any of my sites-with the new or old versions of SLK installed (or even with SLK uninstalled).

I have uninstalled the SLK 1.4 Beta using the following commands:
Stsadm –o retractsolution –name SharePointLearningKit.wsp –url http://somewhere.com
Stsadm –o deletesolution –name SharePointLearningKit.wsp

I have reinstalled the new SLK 1.4 (Feb 2010 release) using the following commands:
(On one front-end server):
Stsadm –o addsolution –filename release\SharePointlearningKit.wsp

(On each SharePoint server):
Stsadm –o copyappbincontent

(On one front-end server):
Stsadm –o deploysolution –name SharePointLearningKit.wsp –url http://somewhere.com –immediate –allowgacdeployment

After this I re-added the MyAssignments web part to the gallery and enabled the feature on the site that requires it.  The “DropBox Document”  library is inaccessible in the site-no errors in the GUI (just the standard “an unexpected error has occurred” error).  In the SharePoint logs there is entries as below:

If I try to navigate to "Manage Content and Structure", I get the following error:

Feature '5bf217da-245c-40c0-a65b-0a6482f73c84' for list template '50000' is not installed in this farm.  The operation could not be completed.

I have attempted to find the features with these ID's (in \12\TEMPLATE\FEATURES\<featureName>\feature.xml), they don't exist which likely has something to do with it.  I checked for the feature folders "SharePointLearningKit", "SharePointLearningKitAdmin" and "DropBox?" and the DropBox feature folder is missing completely (was it ever there?  The only reason I mention it is because when I retracted the solution once it failed on a path "\12\TEMPLATE\FEATURES\DropBoxDocument\...-or something like that).

I have attempted to uninstall and re-install the solutions (both the old and new ones) with no success, always the DropBox feature is missing and I cannot delete the "DropBox Document" libraries because they are inaccessible.

I have no idea how to fix this-anyone got any suggestions for me?

Did you manage to resolve this issue?
I;m having issues too but don't know where my dropbox is.

Sorry, no I haven't-still working on it.  The drop box is a SharePoint library created in the site (or subsite) where the SLK assignment has been assigned to users (look in "View all site content" on the site to see it because it doesn't show on any navigation lists by default).  The old version 1.3.1 drop box library is called "DropBox Document" and the new SLK 1.4 drop box library is called "Drop Box".

I'll post back here if (when) I find a solution.
