License To Use SLK in Internet

Hi everyone,

I have one doubt about the license necessary to execute SLK in a Web Server in Internet.

I want to build a site to everyone (unlimited clients) and for that I will use one Front-End with Web Server 2003
Edition SP1 Server and one Back-end Server using SQL Express with Windows 2003 Standard Edition SP1

What kind of license I will need to buy ? I want to know the budget necessary to make a server with SLK available
in Internet to make distance learn.

Thanks in Advanced

Well, you won't have to buy any SLK licenses!

Seriously, I think you'll want to look into External Connector licenses for your web server. If the folks accessing your server are external to your orginization (i.e. not employees), then that should work. Find more details here:

SQL Server Experss looks like it was made to be redistributed with a packaged appication via a free redistribution license. I'm not sure if running your web server on it is okay or not. It's a moot point, really, as I believe that SLK requires the full SQL Server 2005 and not SQL Server Express.
